Hey Everybody! Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I have been busy working on some new projects. Attached is a sneak peek of one! New work to be posted soon. 

BRETT DENNEN on JAY LENO

I find that being an artist (weather you are an illustrator, designer or fine artist) can sometimes be very narcissistic . . . always pointing at what you've created asking people to "look at what I've done!" However, it can also be a very natural, normal and healthy thing to self promote. All that to say, I was very excited to see this on Jay Leno last night!! Jay propped up the LP of Brett Dennen as he introduced him as his musical guest. Earlier this year, I was commissioned by Brett to paint his portrait for this album packaging. I was very excited to see this featured on national TV!! I apologize for the bad screen grab! 

U2 and BONO

Various portrait commissions. The above NEW BONO and U2 portrait was created for self promotion in anticipation of their upcoming release, No Line on the Horizon. FAREWELL and HELLO! 

In 2008, I welcomed a few new friends to my roster: Los Angeles Times, Neiman Marcus, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Wonder Woman :) and PASTE magazine. I am extremely thankful for these opportunities!  My portfolio galleries have been updated with the work I created for them (except for the Neiman Marcus commission which will be added later). You can view those images at brezinkadesign.com or by going through my archives below. I am working on a few new assignments and will post those images in the coming weeks. 2008 also saw me moving into a new studio space where I am still setting up shop! Seems to take me forever to get settled! Procrastination is my middle name!

I was also honored to have been featured and profiled in Communication Arts online publication in December of 2008. Since the article has appeared, I have received several e-mails from many of you around the world. Many thanks to all, old and new friends, the blog posts, endorsements and e-mails - all who have shown me some love in 2008! I am very grateful!

FINAL PRODUCT

I recently received some final product containing a couple of illustration commissions I did. The images for these were posted earlier, but I wanted to display how the illustrations were actually used in the end.
