Today's Washington Post Local Living section features my cover illustration. The story examines the "green-ness" of the Washington, DC, region and compares what different communities/local governments are doing to reduce their impact on the environment. The bird was submitted as a separate image in order to overlay it on the cover type. Also shown is an alternate sketch (the one I really wanted them to go with . . . ) Thank you, to the very kind (and fellow Northern transplant) Tippi, for the opportunity!
