The Washington Post

Here's a quick turn assignment that came in last week and is featured in todays Washington Post Capital Business section. The article explores the new tax proposals in DC that could either make up budget shortfalls or threaten small business and the local economic recovery, depending on who you ask. Meredith (the AD) came to me with this idea of a beautiful flower being swallowed up by an encompassing and climbing vine to illustrate both the pro and con views. I've been fortunate to receive many assignments from The Washington Post over the years and am grateful. Thank you, Meredith for this particular project. Collage and mixed media.
