"Pawned" - The Shepherd and the Lamb. A modern day interpretation of a rich and traditional story. I wanted to create a present-day and relatable image of an Irish looking shepherd . . . a simple, contemporary and up-to-date man wearing jeans and rubber boots tending his sheep. Created for the 2010 Community Church of Hendersonville Artisans show. The opening and reception was this past Saturday evening.
