A few months ago, I was invited by the Metals Service Center Institute to illustrate the cover and inside spread of their July/August issue of Forward Magazine.
Forward is a bi-monthly magazine with the stories for this issue centering around government regulation with the upcoming election. The cover is meant to sum up the three main stories, all are about different ways US policy is failing this industry. One is on how the laws are just poorly written or they’re 1,400 pages and no one actually reads them. Another is on how the US government doesn’t actually pass laws that are proactive or forward thinking enough to help the industry and the last one is on lack of research and development.
