Today's Political Climate

Election season is upon us once again. Whew! I’ve been fortunate to illustrate some politically motivated images for leading editorial publications over the last few years . . . Here are a few I wanted to share. Many Thanks to Wesley Bausmith, Heather Hopp-Bruce, Dennis Brack and Meredith Bowen.

“Obama” for The Los Angels Times

“In Godless We Don’t Trust” for The Boston Globe

“Thinker” John Stuart Mill for Foreign Policy Magazine

"Labor Daze" for The Washington Post Capitol Business Section

The Catholic Health Association

Recently, I was contacted by The Catholic Health Association asking if I would be interested in illustrating some articles for their November / December 2011 Journal. They requested my pen and ink style. The issue is devoted to problem solving in urban core and inner cities regarding healthcare and aid. We started with the article "Embracing Our Cities" which ended up making the cover. There are an additional 9 illustrations featured throughout. A few of those samples are shown here. Thanks to all the kind folks at CHA! To all the wonderful AD's I've worked with over the years . . . pen and ink is a style that I offer in addition to collage and mixed media. Looking forward to working with you soon!
