Recently, I was contacted by Time Out Chicago magazine and asked if I might be interested in illustrating the cover of their Summer Music issue. Time Out provides the latest in things to do, arts and culture, music, restaurants and shopping around The Windy City. Stephanie (the A.D.) had seen an image I created for the Nashville Symphony and was interested in commissioning me to create this cover in a similar fashion. She had a rough idea of what she was looking for but was also open to my interpretation. Some of the process photos are shown here along with the final cover.
